Calendars

This year I made a calendar for my parents from the pics from their anniversary bash. I am getting it copied so my siblings can have one too. I cheated though....I made it in MS Publisher so it's all computerized.

I've done this for others, but never for myself. Maybe I should... Anyway, the recipients loved them. I asked them in April if they could give me some snapshots of their family, pets or whatever else they had (anything was fine). I told them they couldn't ask what it was for.

I make one for DH and both sets of grandparents every year.. I make it in Amercian Greetings Create A Card program.

I made calendars one year for each of my kids... I used Printmaster, put photos on pages, listed important events... and made a cover. Then I went to Staples and for $2.50 each, they spiral bound them with clear plastic covers. Kids loved them..hugs Neets

I've never made a Caledar, but it sounds like a great idea! I also have the American Greeting Cards Program....hmmm...think a new project is coming on. Ahhh...so much to do so little time...

I just finished my first, and prolly last, one a few days ago. It's a "baby's 1st year" calendar for my 19 yr niece. She's due in Feb so that's where it starts. I left space for her to add pics to it and did a different lo for each month. My intention was to have it done in time for her shower last wek, but just didn't make it. I think I'll give it to her after the baby's born. I just used one of the small blank calendars from Archivers.

I've never made my own calendar, but the thought has come to me several times. :-) I had the thought, just never followed through with it. LOL

Wow!! rom the sounds of it, they soud pretty net, AS LONG AS you have the right ingredients!

Some idea I had, WHEN am I gonna do it - HA!! (another excuse to go buy some more paper I guess!)
