Catch Up

After various delays, I finally said today was it. I was going to catch up on reading/posting on RCS. After seeing 732 posts (geesh you all talk a lot! LOL), I had to hit the catch up button. Did I miss anything? LOL

Kenda - glad to hear WomanLand is done. Can't wait to see it! MC - glad I could pop in at least for a little bit last night for the chat. When is the next one? How did the CKC booth go?

Welcome to all the newbies. Happy Belated Birthday to anyone I missed!! I hope everyone here in the US had a great 4th of July. We had a fairly quiet, family day. No fireworks at my house. Fireworks are illegal here in town anyways, except for professional shows, but that doesn't stop crazy neighbors from setting them off. I'm one of those people who likes fireworks from a distance. I'd rather see them from afar...way far...preferably with lots of water between them and me, or better yet, on TV. They're pretty for sure, but they're still a fire hazard to me, and with all the green stuff here, I would hate to see what would happen if grass or a tree caught on fire. I would just rather leave the fireworks to the professionals. So other than some cracks, pops, and a few small booms from various neighbors, it was a quiet day and night.

I'm afraid I too had to hit the catch up button, Deb. CKC was a lot of fun and a lot of work. But it was my dream to do it and I would do it again in a heartbeat! I love getting to meet and talk to people. We recruited 15,

10 of which are in either my immediate downline or the downlind of my downline Lisa who came with me and did a lot of hard work. The other 5 are in my upline's downline since I needed her help badly!

The only bad thing was that someone lifted the perpetual journal that I made, thankfully I have pictures of it on webshots, and that was so much work. It really upset me, more so because I had a special laminated version of the prayer of St. Francis, (the one that starts with Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace). It had been in my purse for years and I had placed it in the journal only recently. I am still holding out hope that someone will find it in their heart to send it back to me or that someone will spot it on ebay and let me know.

Glad we could chat if only for a few minutes last night. I'm aiming for next Tuesday at 8pm for the next chat!

Hugs, M-C

Is the chat going to be a regular thing? I'm sorry I had to miss yesterday's chat. I will definitely be there on Tuesday.

I'm not sure! It will depend on how popular it is and whether or not I stay with this provider. I'm seriously considering changing, but hopefully I'll still have a chat room either way.

Someone stole your journal??? Well that bites. That was really low of them. How rude! Maybe they'll grow a guilty conscious and find a way to send it back to you. Congrats on the recruits! Woohoo!

Hopefully I'll be able to do the chat tomorrow evening. Umm...send me a reminder email? LOL
