Envelopes and Paper

Wow, I went into the craft store today and was blown away by all of the different papers. It was shopping for Christmas already!!

While shopping I noticed a bone folder and someone mentioned that I truly needed one. What are they?

Oh you just have to get a bone folder! I actually used mine with some rub-ons a couple weeks ago. If you don't have a scoring blade, then use your bone folder. Cardstock folds so much nicer when it's scored.

I want a *real* bone folder! The one I have is made of plastic, and while it does okay, it isn't as good as a real one. But so far I haven't found the real thing anywhere, at any price. (I know it will be more expensive.) But I'll keep looking. I use my current one a lot.

Thanks, Carolyne and Anji! I found a couple genuine bone folders in Carolyne's list (searching for "bone folder" for some silly reason, never occurred to me), but since there is a Dick Blick's right near me, I'm gonna look there first. I hadn't thought of looking for one somewhere besides a scrapbook store. I wonder what other surprises an art store might have?

I worked at one a few years ago for over a year, and learned so much more there than I ever did in my art classes! I got a little bit about everything, and so much can be applied to scrapping! :-)
