Thanks Cec! I wanted to mention at your X'mas pics posting that we also had a "dip" on X'mas day. I've uploaded a phodie of DH, playing cricket on the beach on Christmas Day. Here's the link:

Thanks for looking and your kind comments, Andrea! Time is always my problem aswell. I'm looking forward to seeing your work :) I've collected such a lot of stash this past year, that I really want to try and use it befor I buy anything new, but I know I'm fooling myself, because the moment I see something I like, I just can't resist it!

Thank you Cathy! For the journaling on the mats, I used my own handwriting on a LO for the first time. I felt a bit nervous about that :) I used a caligraphy pen I bought myself with money I got from my Dad for X'mas. Thanks for looking.

Way to go Judy! I'm going to be starting an anniversary trip album for DH & I. Our anniversary tends to fall right around Memorial Day here, so we like to have a little weekend get away and go somewhere new. Seeing your album just might give me some ideas!

hehehhe! Our water is just a bit chilly here in Cape Town, but nice to cool off in on hot days. Bet you Andrea also had a "braai" (barbeque) and a dip and they have lovely warm water down Durban's way!

Thank You Deb! I was thinking of doing all our vacations in one album, but our honeymoon pics have just about filled this one. So I might make this our Honeymoon Album and start a new one for our vacations or I could make a REALLY thick one like you did for your Mom and Dad. Got the info on the plastic binding thingies from Marilyn, which I would have to use in the latter case.

Good luck on your new Album! Can't wait to see it :)))

Judy, I love the colors and your arrangement. Very cool. I do enjoy seeing your creations! All of the Lo I have been looking at today are inspiring me to get to scrapping ! I have not done a LO for 2006 yet ! I am so behind but all of these posts are giving me the push I need! Got to get to starting my new great-granddaughter album instead of just taking more pictures of her every day ! LOL Did I mention that she is beautiful? ( ducking and running) LOL

Ah, thanks dear Sabrina! With that new scrap room in place and all the inspiration of that precious great grand daughter - I see a lot of scrapping being done your side this year :) Wish I could see them. Perhaps you could take a few pictures and send it on to M-C? Keep well!

Thanks Linda :) Here's a little bit more info, if you're interested. The picture with the fence in front, is of our Houses of Parliament In Cape Town (we also have the Union Building in Pretoria - here in SA our Parliament sit six months in Cape Town and six months in Pretoria). The Pic where DH is sitting on the steps, is of the SA National Historical and Cultural Museum and I'm standing at the Cecil John Rhodes statue and Monument. I wish we had a better camera back when the photo's were taken and better skills! LOL

Judy, I have been thinking about sending photos to M-C ! I love my room and sad to say...I have not spent much time in there due to other commitments...recipes and PP swaps...but can hardly wait to spend long days in there. Also I have to send at least one pic of my little Madison. I have one that I love ,my daughter took it, of me holding little Maddie and she is sleeping and I am smiling while cuddling her. My secret sister sent me the most wonderful poem about a Great Grandmother and I am going to use the poem with that sweet picture. Grandchildren are truly God's reward for not killing your kids !! LMAO !
