Guatemala album done!!!

Yippeee!!!! I have agonized over this ablum for DS#1 since last summer. I picked out the papers from a slab that I was going to use, embellishments, had pictures printed, just needed to get to work on it. I struggled with it as I wanted it to be "perfect" for DS. However several friends said, "he's going to think it's great" even if you don't htink it's perfect. Good point. So I made myself take this project to a crop once this year and I've worked on it a little every day, even if only for 5 minutes. And now it's DONE!!!!

I'm working on scanning it now, I'll post when I have a bit more time. I just had to share! I'm soooo thrilled as I have several other projects I want to finish and I also have some things I'd like to try. Off to physical therapy!

Isn't it a good feeling when you finish a project? I'm sure he will love it. Can't wait to see the finished product.

It is such a feeling of accomplishment when you finish an album. I know what you mean about wanting the "picture album" I struggle with that with one of my albums. I have a hard time finishing. I just need to let go and do it. Can't wait to see your album.

For this one it's more of a relief. I've stressed over it so bad!

I was very happy to have it done as well as relieved. I wanted him to have it for a while before he leaves.

I have up loaded the scanns of the guatemala album. I am missing a page but that's okay.

Wow! It looks great Kenda! He'll treasure it forever, I'm sure. Has he taken it to school to show off, yet? :-)

By the way...I recognize that paper! That's one of the slabs DH bought me for Christmas. Yummy!!!!

I think it's so neat to look through an album page by page. It puts all of the LO's into perspective. You did a great job Kenda. Thanks for sharing, Sandy

I do know that he took it to school. I assume that he showed it to Mr. Hughes, his Spanish teacher.

Thank you Sandy!! It feels so good to have it done and to see the finished product. I know that he will really treasure it for years to come.
