hubby and i in accident friday

we were (thank god) in our fiero... the rear ball bearing died and we hit a guardrail at 75mph.... the car didn't buckle, the door flexed and bent a little (where I was sitting and all the force was taken) and the plastic skin was scraped... the car is moving under its own force yesterday and hubby and I both walked away. I LOVE MY FIERO!!!!! that little rollcage on wheels impressed me... the guy behind us saw it thought we would die... he about flipped when he saw the results...

anytime I drive I do... I'm still so amazed at this car.. my hubby is on a fiero forum (people who mod them and collect them) and I've seen pics of accidents that people walked away and always thought.. well, that could be any car... but no.. they were right... I saw a picture of a "naked" fiero... its a rollcage! just like the pros, but stronger even... amazing... one guy went under a tractor trailer at 60mph and walked away.... I'm still stunned... sore, but stunned... LOL....

thanky... they are great little cars... cheap to run (both gas wise and repairs) and despite the whole "fieros catch on fire" crap... yeah, they had some problems, until GM recalled them and fixed it... and I know more chryslers that had that problem and it wasn't fixed... I've owned 5 of them now and not one problem.... and my hubby is on a collectors forum and its VERY rare... unless the recalls weren't done... and get this... you know the dent resistant panels on saturns? thats where they came from... fieros... saturn used the manufacturing process from fieros too... sad they still don't make them...
