I have just started scrapbooking and need to add refill pages. My scrapbook says that it is easily expandable. I have lifted the flaps on both the front and back and see screws. They look identical.(front & back) I have been trying to unscrew them, but they are not coming out. I don't want to force them for fear of ruining the book. Can anyone please help?!?! Thank you so much. Lea

After no response, I went back to the task of figuring it out. I finally have figured it out. Tricky little screws! Lea
Those little screws can be a real PITA... they also tend to get pretty wobbly and unstable if you put more than two into the album. I gave up wrestling with them and bought longer posts on Ebay instead. You can get ones that are different lengths to suit your album, and then you put all the refills in at once and never have to mess with them again!
I have never bought these kinds of albums as I have heard they are difficult to deal with. Sometimes it does take a little while to get an answer from one of us but rest assured, someone will see and offer advice. We love helping each other out here.

THanks for the advise! I will check out the longer posts and be done with it.
It was difficult to deal with! I finally noticed that while I was trying to unscrew the post, the whole post was moving! I was getting nowhere fast. You have to unscrew the top part out of the bottom part. Thanks for your response. :-)
My local ACE hardware store sells extensions and the screws. If you have a hardware store that has a row/isle of (hundreds of) drawers with screws and parts in them, they probably have them. Quite reasonable.
