I think we got somewhere around 10" or more. The wind howled and swirled and drifted like it hasn't in years. Luckily I am off work for two days. We have a 4 foot snowdrift behind DH truck in the driveway, all the way to the street, about two car lengths long. Ryans car is totally covered..its parked in front of DHs truck and my car is in front of theirs! Needless to say, I am NOT going anywhere! LOL My work called me today to see if I could come in because almost everyone else called in. I just laughed!!! Sorry!! I got out and made it in yesterday, and the roads were blowing shut by the time I got off work. I got stuck in the parking lot..they hadnt plowed it yet... and I had to call DH to come and get me out. He didnt go to work yesterday either.He has a 30 mile commute and he wouldnt have made it back home if he had gone. The boys had a ball last night playing in the snow drifts when they went out to feed and water the dogs, and check to make sure their houses were not snowed under! By this morning their tracks were covered up already and snowdrifts were back like they were before they were jumped in! haha! My nieghbor and landlord is trying to find someone to plow us and them out. They have a 5 ft. tall snowdrift about 10 ft long in front of their garage. At least their cars are in it!
I love snow..and I wished we would get a bunch but wow!!! ...yeah its all MY fault! :-) I still love snow!! Its sooo pretty! Linda
