I bought a lexmark 3 in one almost a year ago.. its maybe had a ream of paper through it.. I only use it for journaling or printing out stuff online... well for some reason it would NOT print right... tried everything, new cartridges, etc.... well i call HH Gregg (where I bought it) and they give me a NEW one.. no questions asked ! It was literally



5 days from the end of the warranty! Not only that but the model I had isn't around anymore so they UPGRADED me to a photo model! WOO HOO! They have my buisness for now on!

You know it happened over a month ago.. I'd been changing the color of the text to red to get it to print out... and I just happened to be cleaning and looked at the reciept and saw it was under a year! WOO HOO! I'm filing my reciepts for now on!

Just so you know you can often get refills for the Lexmarks at Walmart really cheap by buying one of the cheap printers $30.00 or less that have cartridges with them. Most of them take a 27 & 17 or a 26 &16 in cartridge. The Lexmark I have will take any of the 4 listed....:) I can buy a printer with 2 new cartridges for the price of one of the color cartridges and pop it into my better quality printer and off I go printing my photos.

You gotta save money where you can.............:)

Good idea.. mine takes 31,32,33,34,35

I'll have to check that out... such a shame to waste a printer like that but they did it to themselves making ink cost more than gold!!!

I put one of the cheap printers up and keep it for an emergency and any others you can usually get rid of at yard sales for a couple bucks.
