make and take today

I went to my lss and they're having a make and take week. I made 2 page toppers and 2 tags. They are Fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving themes. Does anyone want to see a picture posted of them to get ideas from to make yourself? These are really wonderful! I love going there, the owner is so creative! I then proceeded to spend $$$ - isn't that the idea? I bought some bazzil (sp?) cardstock, various fall themed papers, two stamps- one of a mesh screen so I don't have to buy that mesh anymore, one of well I cant explain it other than saying swirls and smushed things (LOL!), a versamark pad- oh this is so cool! If you know already then skip this part but if you ink stamps with this and put it on your paper it is clear, then all you do is chalk it the color you want, where you want! You don't need 15 different colored ink pads! I also got a letter template- swore I would never use those but now that I have chalk it isn't so bad :), some square green mini-brads and some cool fiber. I try soooooo hard to not spend money but it got the better of me today! Of course reading this ng doesn't help!!!

I don't know if there are copyright infringes- at the shop they didn't say they were copyrighted and she made them up so I don't know. We will see! I did not make claim to have created them- I put make and take class in every description. Anyway hopefully someone can get some ideas to make for themselves! It was so much fun! I learned so many new techniques.

Love your stuff, especiall the masquline tag swap. Beautiful.

You are right about this NG inspiring us to spend. I have never been much of a die cut person, and I now have myself ABSOLUTELY CONVINCED that I can nol live without a Sizzix machine and several dies including multiple fonts.

Oh well, we shall see how much longer I last. I have a feeling it is only a matter of weeks, if not days . . .

gotta love it.

OH that's too funny! I have been thinking the same thing about the Sizzix! I have got to keep telling myself that I can use the one at the lss anytime I want... :) Lori k.
