Thanks heaps for all of your well wishes & prayers....Connor just turned 1 in Feb, so we're pretty happy with the timing, we always said 2yrs in between - give or take a few months.

My family are all over the moon, Nick's family however are happy, but also quite dissapointed, Connor was the first Grandchild/Nephew on their side, & Nick's mum & Sister are unhappy that Jennie (his sister) wont be supplying Grandchild number 2...... So things are a little awkward at the moment. I guess I was kidding myself to think that people could all just be happy for us without laying guilt trips.

Oh well, enough bitching I spose....lol, thanks again to you all

What nobody needs a guilt trip, but if anyone chould get it... it should be Jennie. Are you supposed to put your life on hold for her. If I waited until my brother had kids I'd probably never have any. I'm 45 and Auntless. Yes, I'm disappointed ... secretly.... I'd never put a guilt trip on them. One never knows why they haven't had children. I suppose if he was a sister I might know, but boys don't talk like girls do.

Having a baby ia always super news! My Mom wasn't thrilled will my second pregnancy either, she had agrandchild whom she adored and didn't really want another. Plus she didn't think I could handle it-I'm disabled and walk with a cane. But I lost that baby and got pregnant again and now I have 2 beautiful girls who are my heart and soul and my mother adores them both! So just enjoy your pregnancy and in time she will be happy! Babies have that effect on people! Barb:o)

Thanks again, I have a realy hard time understanding dh's family at the best of times, but when they start talking about growing families I'm lost completely, they are the sort of ppl that want their family to look good in everyone else's eyes, so they put so much effort into that, that they forget to see how their family actually are.....We have had some difficult times lately with sickness, deaths in the friendship circle, & family worries, but not 1 phone call from nick's family to ask how we are, & if we call them, all we get is, Why has it taken so long for you to call!!!!!

Anyway, my frustrations should not be your worries, thanks again to you all for your thoughts, dh & I are really happy about this bubba, & are now starting to think of possible names, which is task unto it self....lol
