Bad news for me

Dear Stella, I'm so sorry to hear that you've got this news. These days though the treatments are so good that many people can live a pretty much normal life after they begin treatment. We recently had a programme on TV about the London Marathon showing, among others, a chap with HIV who ran the race in under 4 1/2 hours. Although it may seem like it at the minute HIV+ve is not a death sentence, it's something you have to learn to live with, and we're always here to help you do just that. You've had such a lot to cope with lately that this must be overwhelming, but once you've taken time to adjust please come back and let us support you Love & (very gentle) higs (very special rcty hugs, specially for you) Christine

OH, my God, Stella! What can I say? Please don't stop posting, my friend. I will be praying for you, both for treatment, and for you to have the strength to cope with this battle.

Stella that is very sad news. I am so sorry to hear that.

Do come back and stay with us, if you can, we are all friends here, and can give you some support, even from a distance. We have come a long way with HIV, and there are now many good drugs on the market to help battle it. There are also many HIV positive patients that do very well. Find a support group to join, do not give up. I hope that you have someone close by the give you the mental support to deal with the first shock. Thinking of you, with all my love

I have just found out that I am HIV positive. This is about the worst news a gal can get. I won't be posting much any more, or at least not until I figure out how I'm going to deal with this horrible tragedy.

It's been fun.
