My group membership

Apr 09, 2005 8 Replies

Well I was reading a post from a while back and it said that we have to be a regular poster, and we have to be able to be found on google search. Well I didn't join this group threw google. I went into Outlook Express and set it up and didn't have to join anything. So how would that work with me?

Thanks

Hello Marie,

All this newsgroups post can be seen on google and they keep them archived for years. Ig you go to google

BTW, I just checked google a minute ago and your post asking this question was there!

If you made a post to the group, it should show up on google... you don't 'sign up' for anything. I started lurking in January, but I didn't make a post until March because the group was so infested with Trolls and I didn't want to repeat an experience I had on another group where some horrible person took my email address off the group and sent me some VERY nasty messages... anyway, my three-months doesn't start until I actually made a post - anyone could say 'I've been here since the year dot but I never actually said anything...' ~Karen aka Kajikit Crafts, cats, and chocolate - the three essentials of life

Karen, I personally would say that you more than qualify being a member as you say in your by-line, Cats, Crafts and Chocolate. Most in here HAVE those qualfications!!!
