Yes it was.
Since I know what Tom looks for I scanned the crew/crowd and did catch him holding a phone up in the air (which means I was in the episode too since he called during the reveal).

That was a good show Kate. How fun that you noticed him! And he was talking to you! So glad he was able to take part. Did you ask him if Ty is really as hot as he looks? LOL.

Given that Tom is a man and I know after 14 years of friendship not to ask him "is he cute."
I can say that Tom said Ty is as hyper if not more in person than on TV. Nice guy Tom says.
