OT: free bracelet kit ....Did Anyone Get One?

Did anyone get this who ordered one? I never got mine, kinda forgot all about ordering one, but while searching a saved email from my friend I found the one I sent her about this...so I decided to post an update about why we probably didn't get one.

Due to an extremely high demand in Make the Connection bracelet and education brochure orders and excitement in the MTC campaign, we can not fulfill any new orders at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you for your understanding. We are excited to share that we have exceeded the orders needed for Merck to donate $1 for every bracelet ordered up to $100,000 to the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation. This money will help advance cervical cancer education, outreach for cervical cancer awareness and screening programs among medically underserved women. We encourage everyone to continue spreading the word about cervical cancer and its cause HPV. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to email MTC at snipped-for-privacy@maketheconnection.org.

I got an eMail saying they were sorry but the demand was greater than they thought and was going to send me a substitute.

That was back in November. Oh well, didn't cost anything.

Kate

All I got was spam eMails.

This is so strange. I just received an e-mail today thaking me for "making the commitment" last year and asking me to do the same again this year. According to the website the kits are on a "while supplies last" basis. It's for a good cause regardless. Here is the website for this year:
