Sorry to hear about this, Barb! :*( My husband blew out his knee in '99 playing soccer (completely sheared off his patella and had to have reconstructive surgery using 2 of his hamstrings to 'rebuild' the parts he destroyed) and I know how painful these knee injuries can be. :*( Even though his dr. cleared him as 'healed', every night he has to ice up his knee for the pain and discomfort. :*(
Prayers going up for all of you in need of healing.

Being disabled the knee just gives up every few years and they give me a new bigger brace but the one I have now goes under my foot to mid thigh, they can't go bigger! I'm waiting to see a reabilitation specialist to look into different knee braces available but in the mean time I'm so sore I evaluate how bad I want something or how bad I have to go to the bathroom before I make the effort to get up! Barb:o)

Well at least you can be assured that somewhere in there between 11 and 2 they're going to give you some groovy meds and you should then be flying higher than a kite and not caring about your knee. Oh! I just had a thought! You could take paper, cardstock, and stamps and make some cards while you wait! I can just imagine what kind of umm...interesting...cards you could come up with while under the influence of groovy meds. LOL
Oh my Barb, I just read this! How terrible! I completely understand thinking of what is worth doing when you are in pain! Hope you get your appointment and that there is a new alternative to help you out!
