I am sorry I've posted this late April, Life got hectic last night after I got home.

Anyways, I got to visit with April yesterday for a bit. I had physical therapy and some things I had to get done yesterday morning but we got together in the afternoon. After we loaded up, Me & April in my van; Darrell & April's DS & DD in the moo-mobil. We dropped DS off at one of the mall's in Little Rock. We didn't make it to the LSS before he called and wanted to be picked up. He must have call 14 times or so before we got done shopping!!! We spent some time in the LSS, I hadn't been in in several months so it was fun to go through. We saw lots of things we hadn't seen before. After we left the LSS we went back to the mall to pick up DS. Then, DS wanted to go to the mall that had Hot Topic. We didn't make it 2 blocks from that mall before he called and wanted picked up! LOL (McCain Mall, and we were in Lakewood Village when he called for those familiar with NLR) So we continued on to Hobby Lobby. We shopped a while in there, Zen sure dropped allot of things in April's basket. Though Darrell dropped a thing or two! After our shopping adventures we picked up April's DS at the mall and went to a Japanese Restaurant and had dinner. I'd never eaten at a Japanese restaurant before. It was really good!! I had a good time teasing April's DS, he's too easy! Rather like Dave! LOL (ducking flying things coming from OKC) Then I took them back to the hotel. I hated to leave but really needed to get home to a pain pill and some ice for my knee, it was started to hurt and swell really bad.

The shopping was fun, the food was good; but the best part was getting to talk with April and getting to know her better. I know her better now than I ever did! I still can't believe that she and her family came to my Party all the way from Texas!

Now to the hectic night/day.....Got home from dropping April and family off, got all the animals settled and my Mom called. while talking with Mom my DS#2 calls. "uh Mom, I need picked up. They closed the park early so I'm almost done with my work" I had to show ID to get into the park and be able to park near where I pick him up. Seems there'd been a fight and several kids were hurt pretty bad. Then I get home, get settled on the sofa with some ice on my knee and I wake up to the phone ringing at 2am. Seems DH was at the ER as he'd gotten something in his eye while on a house fire. He didn't want them to call but one of the guys called me anyway. I went up there, got home around 5am. Was woke up before 8 to the neighbors soul music. Then I've been on the run ever since. April, I'm so sorry I wasn't here when you dropped by. DH needed his meds. so that's what I was out doing. I did get what you dropped off, thanks!

Again, I know I've said it before but the friendships that have been formed on this group are just awsome! What you ladies and gentleman for each other is just out of this world. True friendship ebbs and flows, has it's ups and downs (kinda like a marriage) but it just gets stronger and I've made some really good friends in this group and I can't say how much I appriciate each of you. Hugs to you all!!!!

Yeap. surprise surprise....that's me. You never know when I will show up somewhere. Just like Dave. Yes we do work together!....lol

We got up Thursday morning and left by 830 on the highway. Stopped at OKC to get a few things from Dave and drop a thing or 2 off. Let him play with Zen awhile too.

Got past exit 158 in OKlahoma and it was all NEW to me!.... Darrell drives the long stretches and I drive the big cities, cause he scares me!. We were pushing it to get to Jacksonville by 6pm. The sites were beautiful including the 2-3 lakes we went over or passed. I only took pics of Zen at the McDonalds polay area at one of our stops to keep her entertained.

Get to Conway AR and I wanted to take 89 hwy across and missed it and ended up heading towrads little rock. I was worried about traffic but it was so easy my son could have done it. Perfect little U shape drving to the exit we needed off at. We took our stff in the hotel room and then change my clothes and off we went to Kenda's house. Drove by once to see the surprise spot. Then called as she said and then ran to the door for her to scare me by standing there and saying " uh, April, we don't use that door" . I laughed and showed her I had an invite for her shindig!.

DS took care of DD while Darrell and I were being talked to. DAVE warned Me that Kenda's hubby would be quiet and not talk much that they were almost the same that way. We'll we left the party and Darrell said immediately that He was the one doing ALL the talking. Kenda says it was for the interest of the products she was doing that he wanted to know more is why he talked. okie dokie.

I enjoyed the smell of the products and will probably be getting some of the Christmas products they have coming out in Sept. "peppermint"...um um um

That was pretty much it for the first day... went back to the hotel and went to bed.

Got up early today and within 30 minutes fell back to sleep I was tired!. Later got up and stayed up, left DS there while we went to the local DOLLERTREE to get me some things. Went to a new fast food place and had us some wonderful mushroom burgers for lunch!. The place was called RALLY'S. Swam for a bit then got ready for Kenda to come and us go shopping!

I was just running out the door to get some ice and had my room card in my mouth and opened the door to KENDA surprising ME!! We laft to take son to Mall to spend the money in his pocket burning a hole!. Yes he called about once every minute we were apart.

I got several things from the scrapbook store. I spent $89. Finished up on frequent shopper card for Kenda and then started another. I got a few more packages of clear stamps. We talked and chatted about so much stuff..just us

Left there about 9ish and got home here about 10pm. We stopped 2wice and Darrell made me make a wrong turn on a road and ended up 30 miles out of the way. Got back on track though. Rained from the border all the way back to Shamrock!.

Overall I WILL be back.I had agreat-ol time! My nephew's daughter lives ther and they share custody so I WILL be back!!

Carolyne, I didn't expect anyone out of state to attend. It was just an "announcement" of sorts to my friends out of state of my new venture since retirement. Thank you for the well wishes!

Aprisl, we did have a good time. I am so glad that I got to visit with you and spend time with your family! I ment to tell you that you did better by going I-40 to the 67/167 exit. HWY 89 isn't really the best way to come in. Though it is scenic. I hope that we can spend more time visiting. Just CALL next time and let me know you'll be here so I can make sure that I spent alot of time with you.
