Well, It all began last month; first my DH was sick, then my son, then me and my daughter, finally my Mom. My poor Mom also has Parkinson's (as most of you know already) she had a cough, then a fever (almost 102). She wasn't getting any better and it was difficult to breathe. I finally got her to go to the ER, when the fireman picked her up( because she really couldn't walk), she was in A-Fib, fever, low O2 and the cough. In the hospital they did bloods and found out that this probably caused a Mild Heart attack. She was in the hospital from 3/17 (ICU) till 3/22; then they moved her to a regular room only to find out she now had an electrical conductivity problem with her heart (called Sick Sinus Syndrome) and now she has a pacemaker. They moved her to rehab (where I used to work) last Friday and will be there for a while. My Dad misses her terribly. He has a birthday this Friday; he will be 80.
