I'm so happy. Sarah stood up holding onto the railing of her crib today. She also attempted to stand up holding onto the couch but couldn't get a good enough grip.
Elizabeth, my sister, nearly had a heart attack when she turned back to get Sarah out of the crib only to find her daughter standing up on two very wobbly legs but with the biggest grin her face could create.
She's 11 months 2 days old and I'm beaming....
What a fantastic day -- first with M-C and now this. Whoo Hoo.....
In no time at all she will be scaring the daylights out of you as she starts climbing and reaching all the things that have been out of her reach until now. ;o)
Now is the time to invest in baskets. Lots and lots of baskets. Then hang them from the ceiling. Put all the things you don't want Sarah to have, into the baskets. :-) LOL It's one way to be sure she won't get into things!
She'll be taking off in no time!:>)
