Poor Radar, he just wasn't being himself, just being totally lethargic and then Rick tried to touch him and he hissed. He didn't want his stomach touched and he let me get close but still he would brely move his hear. So we called Kenda's house to get the name and phone number of her vet, she's at work so her DH answered.
Well Radar had a fever of 105!!! He doc could not tell just how serious it was and is hoping that it will resolve itself with antibiotics. He gave him a shot, a baby aspirin and something by mouth and sent us home with 21 little seringes full of stuff to give to him by mouth; one every morning. If he's not better by tomorrow though, we'll have to take him back on Monday for x-rays and tests. :( Let's just pray this does the trick. There is an
80% chance that this is all it will take. But then the odds go down alot. If he isn't better then there is a 50/50 that he will get better with more drastic treatments. I don't even want to think about the other 50%. I love my Radar. He was born with me right there and he's travelled from Montreal to Ottawa to Houston to Gulfport, MS to Tampa Bay and now to Arkansas. He just has to get better...M-C
