Hi, Deb, glad you're doing better. I know how you feel. My left arm is currently wrapped from mid bicep to fingertips, and I can't have it back until the 10th either. I have found that I can use a paper cutter by using the thick part of the bandage to hold down the paper, though the cut isn't as clean as I would like. (My arm wobbles.) I am discovering that I can use my right arm more than I thought I could. This is frustrating, though- I have whole *week* off from work, and I can't do a darn thing with it! Thanks for posting the website- I needed laugh- and Digit is so cute! Take care of your hand, and have a peaceful week!

It's good to hear that you're recuperating well. Be patient the

10th'll be hear before you know it.

I love the website you shared. I laughed so hard! Did you put your own captions on yours? I think I'll dig out some of Pepper's pics and see if I can add them to the page. Thanks for sharing.

Glad to hear both of you are doing well. It's good to know a scrapper can still improvise and get things done. Take care, Sandy

Deb I'm so glad you are feeling better. Your one handed typing is pretty good :-) The pictures of Digit are so cute. Take care of yourself. The 10th will be here before you know it.

You should see Debbie on her pain meds!!!! ROFL she is sooo funny!!!! I am glad you are doing better Deb! I will talk to you later in the week. DS is here and we're trying to make plans for the rest of his stay.

No more bandage...YAY! They took the bandage off today, which is a positive thing. I now have a thereaputic glove, looks like a bikers glove. I feel like I should be driving a harley or something! LOL Now I get to start the long healing process. Basically, I'm to let pain be a guide to what I can and can not do. Except no heavy lifting, pulling or pushing. I'm also supposed to massage lotion into the incision area to help with scar tissue...doesn't matter what kind of lotion.

The numbness and tingling are gone though...YAY! Typing stretches my hand some so I'm still going to do a lot of lurking so I don't go backwards in the healing. See...I can be good when I have to! LOL

As for Kenda's comments about me on pain meds...well, I can't lie. LOL SIL had DH take pics of me wrapping presents the other night with one hand. SIL is in SOOOOO much trouble! LOL

Deb, how does your incision feel if you touch it, or as you are using lotion on it? My physical therapist told me that it would be super sensitive, and to massage it frequently with my thumb, or a rough fabric to DE-sensitize it. Mine was weird feeling...it was almost like the funny bone feeling until I got used to it..lol No pain and no tingling is wonderful, isnt it?! :-)

Take of that hand! Linda

Yay!!!! So glad you are doing so well. You looked great last night.

I had one hand that was hyper-sensitive post surgery and one that was just dandy. The hypersensitive one resulted in my being sent to physio, where they had me do exactly what Linda is speaking of. Re-introduce the nerves to every type of touch you can think of. My surgeon also recommended rolling a golf ball for both hands to help. But all of that was after the incision was completely healed! Glad to hear you are doing better Deb!

I have been wondering HOW GOOD you were LOL!! Now I know, out carousing the town and creating goodwell for someone!

Glad that it is doing great. Get some of that skin oil that Arbonne has from Kenda. I think it was/is made more for feet and knees but it is good stuff.

don't overdo it and take care! After all you have a FEW kids to stay after and LOTS of crafting to do!

((HUGS!!))
