Sorry to barge in but I know nothing about scrapbooking and I want to get my niece a basket full of scrapbooking supplies.. does anyone know where I might find a good deal on this at? I have googled and have came up with very few. I see the 1000 piece scrapbook basket at Amazon and at Sams club... am I going in the right direction or am I way off base... can someone recommend something better .. she is 17 .. Thanks in advance..and again I am sorry for barging in.. Daisy in Texas

I'm not sure about any sites online to buy them from. Do you have a local scrapbook store in your area? You could go in there and have someone in the store help you pick out stuff. I'm sure you could give them a price range and then just stock up and make your own gift basket. Has she been scrapbooking long? Sorry I can't be of more help, but I think it's a great idea.

Don't feel like your barging in. We love to help others start scrapbooking. :-) Is your neice already a scrapper, or want to get into it, but doesn't have any supplies? If she's already a scrapper, you might consider giving her a gift certificate to a scrapbook store in the area. If she's not a scrapper already, then some basic supplies would be good. A 12" paper cutter, good sharp scissors, acid free adhesive, acid free cardstock, and some acid free patterned paper. A local scrapbook store would be able to help you out tremendously in picking out items for her. If there's anything she does, sports, civic activities, hobbies, etc...look for paper, stickers, etc in those themes. Hope this helps!
