Tagalong or Sidekick plates?

I was using my Tagalong the other day and I heard this "Cr-a-a-ack!" One of the plates split right in two as I was cranking it through! Is this a normal occurrence? Are they easy to find replacements for? I really dont feel like I have worn it out, as I dont use it a whole lot, but I want to start using it more with my Sizzlits. (That Cuttlebug is looking better and better)

Now thats an idea! I will have to look into that. I found some online for $3-4 a set, but wanted to look further. Thanks April! Linda

just a hint, the lexan is different than the plexi-glass. Lexan is much strong than plexi-glass. Lexan is very difficult to break, it can be done but not as easy as plexi-glass. The business my DH works for uses Lexan because it is better product.

You can pick up new pads just about anywhere sizzix are sold and ebay has them as well. They cost about $3 a set. I use my sidekick all the time and have never broken a pad so it sounds like you got one with a defect.
