What do I need to do?

Hi! My daughter's first week of kindergarten brought home a lot of memorabilia for me this week. I want to keep her very first drawing she brought home but I want to add it to a scrapbook page. What do I need to do to make it archival safe? It is, of course, drawn with crayons.

The only thing I can think of would be to use some of the archival spray. I don't know what the brand is, but I imagine there's more than one. Hopefully someone can give you more info than I can! You might also think about making a color copy for the scrapbook and hang on to the original for when she's grown. My Mom must have kept every drawing or art project I made all through elementray school. LOL But she gave them to me after I was grown and married. Some of them I actually remembered!

I would copy and shrink it to fit on a lo. Then you can save the original. Like Deb, my mom gave me all of the stuff she had saved. In my case it was more of a "if you don't take it I'm throwing it out" sorta thing. I still have it all, including a pic I drew in kindegarten and can still remember doing it. It's a picture of me and one of the boys in my class. I think it must've been my first crush.

That's what I was thinking of doing. It is just too cute to risk damage to and I want to keep it. Thanks for your help!
