autumn in the wndow shops

We don`t have real autumn here , but as we already have `winter time`, i saw that some shops hung some new autumn /winter clothing ....LACE or what seems like lace ,,, Strong colors ,,, i mean YELOOW as in YELLOW , GREENS , in all possible hues ..... fantastic ,,,, no i didn`t buy just `inhaled` the colors and forms ,,, All in all fashhion looks Nicer and more inviting than years before ,,,, AH yes ,, the old saying about fashions and Hems ????? HEMS Are LOWER ,, but it might be also connected to the many religious groups who preffer lower hems , wider more covering skirts ,,, One sees many [young ] women with short skirts over tight pants , [ thus they enjoy trendy clothes and don`t offend any traditional person] ..... mirjam

I definetly liked this season's clothes far more than those from last year. One thing I'm happy it's back it's the color purple in the fall fashion. I also looked through In Style magazine and the gold/black combo is in, I like that color combo a lot.

If you had purchased something that you saw on the display windows, what would it have been?

Hugs, Lory

I've been so busy lately that my only observation about the changing of the season is relief at the cooler temperatures. I don't pay much attention to display windows - I'm tall enough that I already know what's displayed won't fit me. And the stuff I like to wear and make is different enough that it can't be out of fashion because it was never really in fashion.

I saw a purse, though, that I coveted. $200. Ouch.

Kathleen !!! Ahh A lady with GOOD taste ,,,, Coveting Costly purses tells ys you have this EXtra chic taste... About your clothes being inand out off fashion ,,Tz tz tz ,, you meant to tell us that YOU HAVE a UNIQUE style !!!! We have a systym of public taxies here that function like buses , everybody pays same sum , and they stop at will , [better than buses:>:>:>] And i use the ine from our part of the city to mid town regulary , one day one of the drivers told me i was a `Local figure` ,,,, I thanked him for the compliment ,.,, Ps my Style has helped me getting an Exhibition in a museum , The curator wrote about the erxhibition , and that she first noticed my different clothing style !!!! Thus Kathleen stick to YOUR style .. Ps 2 in winter i wear sweaters & vests and Shawls [mstly moebious] all Hand made by ME and my style !!!! mirjam

Ok Lory , had another PEEP , in the windows , I like the dresses , i like the many shiny and beaded little vests , i like the front buttond long sleeved shirts with loads of colars ,, but buying something ?????? NO .... i would rather turn over what ever stash i have ,, look into my old winter clothes , and repair some things ,,, Now mind you i saw some wonder clothes ,,, But the truth is i don`t need them , and with me the word Need was my first rule for buying , anything. Of course when traveling , here and there i would see an item that i thought might be a USEFUL Addition to my warderobe ,,, and as you are traveling and are not sure you will see that again ,,,, you tend to think different ,, one item like this is a jeans `silk soft` shirt , front buttons , 7/8 slleves, and an Elaborate decoration , that would TAKE ME AGES TO MAKE ...[had i gone that way] , very useful in summer in Freezing trains and buses , in autumn everywhere over shorter shirts , as shirt on it`s own as a CHIC ` jacket` ,,, i bought it 4 years ago and use it a lot ,,,, [it was love at first sight !!] mirjam
