Customer service

I wrote to Viking Sewing Machine Company because my manual has been mislaid. Today I received a reply with a free download of the manual I needed plus a basic sewing guide and a needle guide. That's good customer service. Juno

Indeed it is, congratulations! How old is the machine?

Beverly

It's 10 years old. I know that the original manual is somewhere in the sewing room, I just can't find it. A lot of things were moved around Christmas. My son did a family portrait down there and things were moved out of his way. It took me weeks to find some of the feet I had in a small box and the five packs of new needles I had just bought. I was moving things out of the way so they wouldn't be lost and of course I couldn't find half of it when I went looking again. Juno

It was ever thus... ;-}

Isn't that the way, it usually happens. I remember once, my Dad bought a new box of men's handkerchiefs and put them away, so we(particularly me) wouldn't get them out to make doll clothes. He said, "I put them away so now, only God & I know where they are." Sometime later, I asked him why he was using an old one that was torn and wher was his new box. The answer was, "Now onlky God knows, I forgot where I put them." Emily

At first I was silently blaming DS for things getting mislaid and then I remembered going down and moving things around and him saying just leave it mom. I don't want to get blamed when you can't find everything. Should have listened, but of course I didn't. Juno

Oh my, I should never get in a rush and not use 'spell-check'. Emily

Dear Emily, We all do it, so why not you.lol Juno

'S alright! We all knew what your brain meant. It's the fingers you have the problem with. :-)
