I took the bobbin assembly out for cleaning and when I replaced it found that the bottom thread is not being picked up and the whole assembly doesn't seem to be seated probably.

I took the bobbin assembly out for cleaning and when I replaced it found that the bottom thread is not being picked up and the whole assembly doesn't seem to be seated probably.
Perhaps a trip to a qualified repair shop is in order.
