Just about finished the Noodlehead cargo bag

I've been working on this bag forever and it's been a beast for me to do. I set it aside more than once to think on it.The directions could be better. I spent a lot of time just thinking, and pinning and then the light bulb w ould light and I could do another section. Now I mostly hav finish seams to do. It could be lined but I've put so much time into this ting I just want it to be done for now. Perhaps in the fall I'll make a lining for it. I bought a kit and then fond out the pattern, which is free had to be downl oaded from Noodlehead. I want to make another one eventually but I really need a rest from it righ t now. My camera is not working right now so no pictures.

Looks fabulous, but I can understand being frustrated if the directions are not clear. Good luck!

That's the one, Now that I've made it I know where my problems came. there are some pieces that the directions have you cut more than you need. that wasn't a big deal. the directions just take time to decode, at least for me . The biggest problem is attaching the zipper and bottom gusset. Itends up being one piece and there's a lot of ease to work in nice and smooth. You a re working with quilted fabric and thick seams. After doing this piece ,I'l l never complain about trying to set in a sleeve.

Congratulations on tackling such a complicated project, and sticking with it through the rough patches. It will be a great bag when you are done.

I have this thing, If I start something I will work on it forever. I refuse to let a piece of fabric win.
