Before the trip, I bought a beautiful piece of batik cotton in a geometric pattern, ranging in shades of blue, from faded denim to deep royal. I hoped to get it made into a shirt for the trip, but ran out of time. So today, I'm going to cut it out, matching the pattern across the center front. I am going to DGD's school music program tonight, so I'll start sewing it tomorrow.
I still have lingering affects of the go-on-vacation-catch-a-ubiquitous-airplane-virus, with sinus and eustation tube blockage, and some lingering chest congestion. This is getting old *really* fast.
