Location of Pre-owned Lathes for Sale?

eBay or your local classified ads. There isn't much business for used home shop equipment, not like there is for industrial equipment.

Large tool dealers such as Skarie in Baltimore, Richard Byrnes in West Chester, PA may have something from time to time. There's also a fellow around Washington who I've heard buys up used stuff from school industrial arts programs, etc but I'd have to dig out his name if you wanted it.

Believe it or not, amazon.com 1) has used ones for sell, and 2) is selling a few Delta and Jet lathes at half price right now, and has free shipping on them. I just picked up a Jet mini lathe for $199.
