Damn shame, that. Has anyone here used Vicmarc chucks?

I have used a Vic Marc Chuck as well as One way. Think highly of both but prefer the Vic soley for the hex key. Is it true? Is he on his way down? I Hope.
I just ordered a Vicmarc chuck. After researching all the available chucks, it stood out as a winner, for exactly the reason you state above. I suspect Al will make a miraculous reappearance someday.

Great chuck,nearly payed full price until finding out record RB4000 is the same.Only suplied in 16 tpi and I think 1"x 8tpi, but haveing a CL3 lathe saved me £35 (63 USD)
