Hi Mirjam, I'm about. It's early evening Saturday here. It'd been a nice day and I've had phone calls from friends and my brother visiting. I got some photos online of my finished Norwegian MItts

We are having Swedish Spring now; one minute it is warm and sunny, the next we are having snow. Makes going outside very exciting! :-)

This Spring is also a very busy time for me: Last Thursday I found out that I will have the use of a tent for my Subversive Sl=F6jd (handcrafts) workshop at the festival this summer!!! I mean the kind of tent that holds 50 people at a time and, hopefully, there will be many people interested. The workshop will be very informal and people can come and go as they like.

And my artist group has its annual Art Round May 17-19, but I am exhibiting during the entire month at the Minigalleri.

And I have another group I am in that meets the first Wed. of each month and we are doing some textile handcrafts this time (Apr. 4th) with me and another woman as leaders.

And I will hold one more crafts day for the children at my apartment complex earlier on the 4th since I've already booked the Hobby room and have to prepare anyway!

So, to sum up, people may not be hearing much from me until the end of the summer!!! :-)

I am here! Doing little crafts here and there. It is the time for me to start ridding my horses so it'll be less time for my computer and crafts but I never really stop either totally.

Beautiful work, Mirjam.

I showed the exhibition to my husband and he is very impressed also.

While he was at my computer I brought onto screen the page showing the "Lights of Haifa" embroidery and he agrees that it is lovely. :-)

Good day, Mirjam, I'm still here, albeit infrequently. Thanks for the link: I love looking at creative crochet.

That is really beautiful and I love the ideas behind it. I like how you merge the functional art of needlework with what is considered fine art.

Also, I was happy to learn the Hebrew name for Impatiens. I recently planted about 6 dozen of them. Did you know they are also called DIzzy Lizzies? I guess for how they shoot out their seeds, when the pods are ripe.
