Don't get it

I'm trying to help my BF set up a cafepress shop since mine is fairly successful (I'm actually trying to convince him to write a book about his time in Iraq)... and found this while poking around.

THink it's more along the lines of the old pick up line, " If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?" but I could be wrong.....

Probably someone jokingly finding something to protest against that wouldn't offend anybody; politically correct protesting.

If that's so, it didn't work. ;-)

Oh, no. No Republican would do this, this is a Democrat (or at least politically correct leftist) thing.

Some people will protest anything. ;-)

If I were in the mood for a war, I WOULD take umbrage and protest your comment, as if Republicans would be above retalliation to our Democrats Knitters Against Bush, but since I'm not in that mode, Happy New Year! Noreen :D

Now, there's a good way of looking at it Carey! I've said it before, I LIKE the way you THINK! Hugs, Noreen who now has an earworm

That's what I thought - it was more about protesting against protesting :P

When I got down to the pictures of the tank top, bib and thong, it seemed to follow (particularly as they're advertised as 100% fine cotton jersey, and I would believe that to be a double-knit). Kind of struck me as a subtle pun. Referencing the old "beautiful body" line just seemed a good way to get the pun across. But the poor dog looked like he was definitely against wearing the shirt, at least.

Course, the wall clock reminded me of another "up against the..." line. Now I can't remember the band that had an interesting cover design including a wall.(and that's *another* thought....)

(grin) And if I were in the mood for umbrage taking, I could return the favor and protest your protest. OF COURSE Republicans are not above retaliation to Democratic Knitters Against Bush!

But.....I shall leave the umbrage under the bush and let someone else have it.

Happy New Year to you, too!

:D and... if we could get the politicians, much less the rest of the world to agree to disagree as easily as we just did... WOW, eh? Noreen
