Hi Carol,

Nice to see you posting again.

Hugs,

Nora

Yeah... where've you been Carol? I hope you're doing well... it's been a while. :o)

Peace! Gemini

Er, well.... I've been here reading... just didn't have anything worthy enough to say to mess with going to the Google site and posting.

I moved into my own apt about 16 months ago, and my divorce should be final sometime this month. :) Seems like all I do any more is work, sleep, and get on the computer while I eat meals. The only time I got much crocheting done was when my big-footed friend was in the hospital; I sat with him for a few hours every day. [sigh] I need a life!

You're right on - I just measured them - they're 18" around. Saw your other note that they wouldn't be big enough for swollen feet. I'm sorry to hear that, I would have loved to have them go to someone who could use them.

I posted about that under "The Knee" (smile)

Carol, You really don't want a life. I had one once, but didn't like it, and couldn't get my money back!

Katherine

Then they just might fit -- the 18" circumference was an estimate of the size when swollen. And if they don't fit perfectly... eh, he wouldn't be walking in them anyway, they'd just be to keep his tootsies warm when he doesn't realize they're cold. Or to wear when he goes somewhere like the Dr's office. (When he had to go to court, all he could find that would fit his feet was a pair of red corduroy slippers, he spray painted them black!)

I'll get in touch soon, or email me (just remove the 'post' from the email addy here).

Well, come and visit with us. We don't have much of a life either.

Katherine

LOL Yeah, I'd like to trade mine in sometimes, but no one else wants it either!

Thank you for leaving that attached, Katherine.... I missed Carol's original answer. :o/

It is good to see you posting again, Carol.... with or without a life. ;o)

Sometimes I leave them in, Gem, and other times I don't. Glad I was able to help you this time.

Katherine

I usually lurk quietly on the NG but this post caught my attention. However, I missed where the pattern was. Could someone post the details again please.

Many thanks

This is a pattern that you pay for.

Turns out the Australian distributor for the patterns is a local (about

60km) and she's coming into town today! So I get to browse the catalogue from home in exchange for a nice afternoon tea.

Thankyou so much for the info

Thank you, Carol and congratulations! I hope that it all goes well for you.

Katherine

Congratulations, Carol, I wish you happiness!

I know... a lot of people think it's odd to congratulate someone on a divorce, but having been through it myself (long time ago now) I remember being relieved that it was finally overwith. Personally I am happier and better off (not financially, but that's not the most important thing in life) on my own than I was while married. :o)

Peace! Gemini
