Okay - I'm cheap - I'm looking for a free pattern. After much Googling, I can't find anything but a Fibre Trends pattern, and it's not free. I'll keep looking, but if anyone has a link to a free pattern, I'd be grateful. ;>)

Shelagh,
I wish I knew of a free pattern somewhere, but I searched for one at one time also and came up with nothing. If it's any consolation though, the Fiber Trends pattern is one you may get a lot of use out of, it was well worth the price to me -- they are awesome clogs, I've made two pair for myself now, and several pair for others off the pattern.

I'm going to print it out and see what I can do with it. Thanks again.

An added note: I surfed on over to Ram Wools site and see they have the Fiber Trends clog pattern there, so if I have to I'll pick it up there the next time I'm in town. I have some White Buffalo yarn I thought I'd use for the clogs - in a nice denim blue shade. I've already felted a swatch and it felts nicely.

Hi Shelagh! I think these are "clog like!"
Shelagh , if you have any clogs [non felt ] that suit your leg , why not make a pattern , cut it off towel cloth , see if you like it THAN make it of felt ???? mirjam
I've used the Fiber Trend Pattern many times, myself, and it is well worth the price. Easy to make, too.

I have used the Fiber Trend Pattern once, and had a number of questions. I emailed the designer and she was very helpful with all of my questions.

Looks like Aud and Wooly already beat me to it....
Yes, it does. Thanks to all three of you! This pattern looks more like what I want to try. ;>)) I'll let you all know how I make out. The slippers I'm wearing right now have holes in the soles, so I think it's time for some new ones.
Thanks again!! Shelagh
Shelagh, let me know how they turn out, wouldja please??? I love clogs and think it's time I felted a pair myself! Hugs, Noreen
I already have one knitted up. They look pretty funny unfelted (grin). Should have the second one done by tonight and will probably try to shrink them tonight too. Will post photos and link in a day or so. Shelagh
(grin).
I LOVE the designers remarks about using the DH's jeans... will you do *that* too, giggle? Hugs, Noreen
Nope - just a large towel, and will put the slippers in a zippered pillow case to keep the fuzzies down.
