I just *know* we missed Nora and Mirjam's b-days!

Thanks for the early birthday wishes. Yes, it's this Sunday. The gals where we go for lunch on Tues. had a cupcake with a candle and cards for me which was sweet of them.

Ladies Thank you !! this is odd , i am in no Birthday mood yet ... But thank you . Tomorrow i am due to take a younger [=my age] friend , to visit an older [ = my mother`s age had she lived] friend , I think i mentioned the older one before , She was my inspiration for weaving ,,, She lived the opther side of the road , and had her loom { Belgian Country or Framer style loom] , in an empty Chicken House [ Cher Sounds familiar ???] , i was atrracted to it , but mu mother forbade it ,,,thus i would crawl on the Mullberry tree and watch her weave. She used to paint with my mother and When i was ill for long months , they would come and paint in my mother`s house and even painted me... She is a weaver and doll sculpturer ans a real FIBERARTIST , but being of That generation , when women just Did `handcraft` , she didn`t realized she was an artist , Until her son , Who became a Photographer and lecturer in London , showed her works around and ALL said THIS IS ART !!!!! mirjam

Thank you ladies , for all the wishes ,, but why oh why , have you taken 2 days out of our 61st years and added them to 62nd .:>:>:>: Well , am prepared to go visit my friend ,, collected a big bag of wools and other stuff , she can`t get in Nahariya . To make her creative juices happy ... Did all shopping for tomorrow and Pentecost + birthday needs ,, We also intend to visit an other ex neighbour of mine, and whose mother was sa friend of mine , She has a special shop , 2nd hand jewelry , specail clothes etc,,, used to have another one and changed a bit the location and the ideas. When the yiung friend traveling with me mentioned that "there used to be THAT SHOP ," i had to laugh and said " Aha You mean H`s shop , no problem i will call her and ask her where she moved it ? etc..... The older Friend we are going to visit , May dshe Live LONG, my late mother and H`s late mother used to paint together , and share knitting and crochet patterns, H`s mother used to crochet and knit with cut Cloth stripes . And we all lived , in this small town where everybody knew everybody anyway, in 'Shouting distnace from each other. The shop owner is also younger [3 years] than me, and in school i used to be part of the "Health Brigade" ,, we used to check [PLease don`t Tumble over laughing !!!!] the younger clases` kids , nails , and if they brought a cloth nappy to put under their sandwich , and a little towel to wash their hands with . And that is how i know this Shop keeper .... mirjam

Looks like my 12th looked like 17th as this is what I have in my diary...darn it....oh well your prezzie will get to you a bit late then....lol
