ISO: good pattern software

Jan 14, 2007 2 Replies

So, like topic says, I'm looking for a software that I could use calculating/drawing sweater-patterns and also something that I can draw aran-type patterns.

Has anyone tested or using any software like this and has good/bad to say about it?

design capabilities with either programEasy to learn/use.The negatives are copy protection on the programs makes reinstalling tedious, printed pattern format is not standard for knitting patterns. Problems with printing instructions using older printers.

a familiar with the newer versions, the older ones had a steep learning curve.

basic design software, user friendly. Patterns are produced in standard knitting format.Check the web sites for screen shots and tutorials. These will help in deciding which one is right for you. DA
