Need a yarn color.

Could you let us know what Plumberry looks like? I have been searching online for a picture of it, but cannot find it. (I have an unidentifiable part of a skein of yarn and wondered if it might be Plumberry. It is something that my mother sent to me after someone gave it to her.)

Thanks, Eve. It is hard to tell from so small a square if it is the same. The yarn that I have has many more colors than that little box shows. Maybe Joan will be able to describe it for me.

I've got a lot of Red Heart, but have never seen that color before. I have plum pudding, but that's not even listed any longer. If you want I'll check my Walmarts tomorrow and see if they have it there.

I did a picture search on GOOGLE: Red Heart Super Saver Yarn-Plumberry http://63.210.199.180/03/52/6/35264.jpg.fpx?qlt=60&wid=144&cvt=jpegAndhttp://63.210.199.180/03/52/8/35280.jpg.fpx?qlt=60&wid=144&cvt=jpegIt SHOULD be the same colour, but in the ball, it seams to be white or a very light colour, which cannot be seen on this swatch I think!

I did check our local Walmart and they haven't had that color in a long time, gal thinks it may have been discontinued. Sorry I wasn't able to get a skein for you.

On seeing that nobody had any of this yarn leftover to send to you and that Nora didn't find it at Walmart, I looked online to see if it was available that way. I do almost all my shopping online, so it's the first way I attempt to find or purchase anything....

Anyhow, here's a link to Amazon at which they list the yarn. It's saying it's coming from JoAnne's, which is really odd 'cause JoAnne's site doesn't have it available. But hey!, maybe it IS being discontinued and this is where they'll sell off the end lots....

Thanks Eve,will give it a try. The amount she needs is a little bigger than a fist. If we can't find it,she is prepared to pull it out to where she decreased the second side. Thats a lot of pullng out. joan

Oh, for cryin' out loud! I saw plumberry listed, checked the price, and never noticed the drop-down for ordering where it said that it's out of stock!!!!!!

It's listed on the Coats and Clark website as #982 Plumberry and is variegated. I couldn't find it on Michael's, Walmart site is a pain, AC Moore...

No, I have plum pudding and it's nothing like the color she is looking for. I wish it was as I would give her a skein.
