Well -- I received a project as a gift from DS#2 today. He bought some beautiful mohair&silk lace weight yarn, the appropriate circular needles and a shawl pattern for me for Christmas.
I have added your item to the list.

Well believe it or not while sitting on Christmas Eve I decided what I'm going to do for my project. After finally mastering cable this year I am going to make myself an Aran type sweater.

Wow, Darlene! GOOD for YOU! Hugs, Noreen thinking.... this will be quite the accomplishment, considering your hand/wrist
OH, how wonderful! You raised that boy right!
Higs, Katherine
Woohoo! Great idea, Darlene! Let's hope that you heal fast so that you can get this done.
Higs, Katherine
that looks pretty Noreen, what colour are you doing it in? Cher
Cher, meTHINKS I'll do it in a rusty/wine colour, but MAYBE a teal... I have both! I am also starting a second the same day in off-white for a secret pressie for my sister. Hugs, Noreen
OH, what a quandary! I love *both* those colours. But off-white is really versatile, isn't it? Either way, it will be gorgeous.

Hi, Katherine! I'm going to decide on New Year's Eve... and maybe, just maybe, I'll be starting THREE! LOL Noreen
Diving right in, aren't you, Darlene. Don't over do it, though! (There's the Mother in me. LOL)
Janise
Woohoo! That should keep you off the tables in bars.
Higs, Kather> Hi, Katherine!

OH OH OH!!! Am I ever glad I decided to check in today!
I've already printed this as well, & I'm going to make it out of some really pretty light blue heather Sirdar Country Style DK that I had bought for another project, that I never got around to!:>)
Tks Noreen!!:>)
I started it early, but my NYCO will be the Peacock Feathers Shawl done in Crystal Palace Kid Mohair and Silk. I've got 102 rows done, with many, many more to go. I love this shawl.
Shelagh
Trish, you're welcome, but for what exactly, hon? Are you making the same one????? Hugs, Noreen
What a great son to not only get the materials, but to know WHAT to get! How wonderful!
