I can pinch, but knitting is tough. The wrist is in better shape than I expected, the thumb not so much. PT here I come.

But at least I can braid my own hair now if I'm *careful*, and I should be able to spin. I'll find out tomorrow, as I haven't had a minute to breathe since I walked out of the house this morning to head to the orthopedist's.

Along with Paul Harvey, I and others will be awaiting the rest of the story, snerk! Hugs, Noreen

Just don't rush! Let the healing happen first.

Gosh, Wooly,

I can't imagine not being able to do the things I love. I hope you feel better soon, but like others have said, please don't try and rush it! If you are swollen, ice is good, and heat, but not too long. I had a pulled tendon years ago, and they said nothing but ice the first day, then alternate ice and heat for 15 mins at a time, because ice helps with swelling and pain, while heat helps blood circulate to help you heal.

HTH!

Treat your knitting as an athletic training. Train, do not strain! Even guys like Walt Stack and Jack Lalane are more careful as they get older. If you think it is healing slowly, think how slowly it will heal if you need to get it cut again in 10 or 20 years!

Glad to hear that things are moving forward. Remember just take it easy and don't rush into things too quickly.

Wooly, I hope it is better soon - take it slowly and let it heal God Bless gwen
