Blues Purples Greens Reds Yellows

I like sharp contrasts as well. My kitchen floor is black and white squares. Which shows every bit of dirt imaginable - lol.

Contrasts, she says! jumping up and down, me too! Course, when I was ahem, younger, some of the contrasts I liked then are now very hard on the eyes! LOL! Noreen THINK: the hottest pink you can think of as accents, with the brightest canary yellow walls, with white furniture. THAT was me at

15! LOL

Isn't it FUN? Yes, I've always walked to the beat of a different drum! You should've seen how aghast my mother was when I decorated that room! I have an afghan now that is fire engine red and teal. You look at it long enough and you see teal and red on the grey walls! TOLD you I like stuff that's hard on the eyes! Noreen

Oh but isn't that why we become parents: to embarrass our children. I always tell mine (when they complain that I'm embarrassing them) that I'm really good at it, 'cos I've been practicing a good long time!! For instance the time I was in a church holiday club drama: as a parrot, complete with squawking, and "Pieces of eight", wearing a (fortunately) long T shirt with multicoloured feather shapes sewn to it and a pair of purple tight. Boy did that embarrass them. Now my favourite colours: Blues of all shades Yellow, bright, sunshine, canary, butter, deep cream some greens, but not olive or bottle (too close to secondary school uniform!)

Pretty much the same for me, except put mauve in the middle some where and yellow on the bottom.

Oh that's only one of many instances of the years I've spent learning how to embarrass them. They're getting harder to get to now they're older, but I keep trying Love & higs Christine
