OT - Gone for the day again...

Going to rest up a bit so I can enjoy watching the Superbowl with Matthew later!

I'll be back tomorrow... I hope!

Gemini,

Hope you're feeling completely better now after the dental work. Your experience is one of my worst nightmares!!!!!!!!

Thank you, Eve! :o) My tooth has been not too bad today *knock on wood* (I haven't gone to bed yet, but I am heading that way soon). However, for some unknown reason my stomach is acting up tonight... and I didn't really eat much today. *sigh* Time for some ENO (like Alka Seltzer, only better in my opinion... and in powder form instead of tablets) I guess. ;o)

Okay... I spoke too soon! Very late last night... 1 AM to be exact... my jawline/gums, etc started throbbing again. But... it was a LOT longer between pain than it had been previously. So I took a half a painkiller, two extra-strength Tylenol, and went to bed... but, a half hour later it was still throbbing and I was BITCHY as all get out (poor Matthew barely spoke to me and I almost snapped his head off... and after him working so hard in the laneway all day too), so I took a half a sleeping pill to help me relax. That did the trick and I was out within 15 minutes.

Feeling not too bad (tooth-wise) so far today... but my stomach is still giving me a very hard time. I am planning on drinking quite a bit of water today to keep myself hydrated for my stomach's sake. I just took (about a half hour ago) two extra-strength Tylenol (I have a headache like you wouldn't believe, along with a very mild throbbing in the tooth area) and half of a valium to calm me down. I am expecting to zonk out very shortly (the valium does that to me)... so I put on my pajamas and prepared my bed to snuggle in for a few hours. Needless to say, I won't be around too long on here today. In fact as soon as I catch up I will shut down the computer and go rest after setting the alarm to wake me up at a good enough time for starting supper for when Matthew comes home.

Oh... wait until you hear the irony of this one. Do you remember shortly before my parent's home was sold out from under us by the executor, when the humongous tree in the back yard came crashing down across the back yard and took out the fencing? Matthew came in the house last night and said "Talk about irony! If it's still there in the morning when we are leaving to get me to work... look down to Jack's place (he's the neighbour who turned gentle Casper into a dog who does not trust strangers, and who complained about us a few times to the town hall... partly because of the dogs barking at him all the time (wonder why?) and partly because we hadn't had the tree stumps removed from the yard making it "look disgusting" (even though we couldn't afford it just then), etc)... the large tree that is out in front of his place and the place next door to him (the other side from where we lived) has a HUGE branch about the size of a small tree, snapped off and across his property." Sure enough, it was still there this morning... ironic that the thing he complained about us for has happened to him. ;o)
