OT: More prayer please

received the following from my DC's mom when I got home from my two days of work. I fear this is nearing the end for her, but we know how prayer helps despite the dastardly study done. Any extras you have would be much appreciated.

>DC has called his DMother twice from Houston 4/6. M. D. Anderson called late

yesterday and asked DCW to be there at 8: AM April 6 to have a feeding tube installed. DC said that went well and she was in recovery by 9:30 and then things went down hill. Her blood pressure dropped rapidly so she was transferred to the emergency. The Dr. couldn't get it stabilized, though it would go up some, then back down. Tonight he called again and her blood count was down to 6 so they were giving her 3 units of blood, and that was expected to take until midnight.

I will continue to pray, Susan. If not for a miracle, then for strength to get through this time.

Thanks to everyone. I know many of you have left my cousin and his wife on your prayer list, but asking again never hurts. I read, with interest, and then with disdain, the information from the study done on prayer. I think they missed the whole point.

I passed, once again, your notes on to my aunt. I know it will give her a sense of peace as it does for me.

You are a special family to be a part of!!! (Bad English, good intentions)

Hugs, Susan

Hi Susan,

That prayer study to me was a waste of time and money. How can they begin to tell what helpls a person when they can't find a cure for the common cold. To me prayers are a wonderful part of life.

Hugs,

Nora
