My guess it that it happens when someone is eating one of those enormous sandwiches that restaurants and delicatessens make, where the toothpicks holding it together are buried and hard to see.

I've done my family tree and they came from Hampshire, but my gramps used to say ''lass'' and call me missy, so I was intrigued when I found out he came from Hampshire, as they don't speak like this, maybe it was a copy tag, from his army days...Cheers..Cher

A few years ago at a craft fair I bought a lovely twiggy thingy tied with wool in a pretty pattern. As soon as I got it home the flippin' thing fell to bits and of course I couldn't put it together again:(

Now that's ANOTHER coincidence! - I recently bought 5/8 inch dowelling and was going to make at least one god's eye with it! I originally bought the dowelling to hang a crocheted piece I'm working on.
