I've got the first sleeve finished on the Circumnavigated, including the ribbing. I have a small ball of yarn which I'll knit up as the second sleeve, but I need to do some spinning in order to finish the second sleeve and make the button band.
Ortho update: The guy is confusing. Before Christmas he gave me to understand that the Depomedrol injection was a "get through the holidays and here's your January surgery date" sort of thing. Today he told me that since I'm largely pain-free - resting, mind, it still hurts to do any weight-bearing work - I can put off surgery for a couple of months. Now, I'm not complaining about not going under the knife. Contrariwise - the longer I can put it off the happier I'll be. The downside of waiting is the HEAT; even a two-month delay puts me in a cast well into May and the beginning of the hot season. Ugh.
So I don't have to be quite so frenetic in my efforts to finish projects in the next couple of weeks, so that's a good thing. And I should have some time to work on the Kureyon vest and the Nashua Creative pullover I have in mind...
My bags of wool are at the processor, now I just have to wait for it to move through the queue and come home. Since the stuff grows with each stage of processing until the spinning when it shrinks again I may have to rent a storage unit to put it in - 20# of wool is going to be IMMENSE when it is roved :D
