LOL "Gem's Moving Co".... I like that, although I think I need to have some young strong guys working for me instead of me doing it. ;o) Funny you know, I actually have thought about doing something like that... I could drive and Matthew and his best friend could do the actual moving of furniture.

Actually the table isn't for holiday food. We just haven't had a table in our kitchen since moving here two years ago. Our "kitchen" table from the old house is now sitting in the diningroom/computer room because it's too wide for the kitchen. The folding one that was out on the deck is long and narrow-like, so it fits nicely in the kitchen with room to walk around it and open the cupboard doors and the oven door too without getting in the way. I just wanted it in there so that I could do stuff at the table instead of at the counter all the time. :o)

I told Matthew when I spoke with him on the phone tonight that I haven't done anything with the boxes and bags on the main floor yet... but I have two weeks before he comes home to get at it. He will be home on Nov 13 and the Santa Claus parade (which goes by our house) is on Nov 26... so he'll have two weeks to check the lights for the edge of the roof, the edge of the garage, the fence, the back deck, and the front porch and get our plastic Santa Claus put outside.... oh yeah, and the lighted shapes up in the windows too.

Awww, I wish her well with her delivery!

Yes ma'am! I found out the hard way (stubborn Newfie blood, you know).... after resting a bit, I found that I had totally exhausted all of my energy on that table alone. :o/ I didn't go for a walk today, and in fact I didn't even do up my few dishes that are still soaking in the sink. I'll have to try to do them tomorrow. I am going to be soon... maybe even using a heating pad on my back for a few minutes to help relax it a bit. And Matthew wants me to rest for at least a couple of days before even thinking about getting at any of the bags and boxes that I wanted to sort while he is gone... so I likely will be a couch potato and just watch mindless TV, and pop on here for a few minutes if I find the energy. However if you don't see me for a day or two, you'll know that I'm camped out on the sofa for a while. So no need to worry!
