Morning everyone

Just a very quick hello from me this early Sunday morning. It's 6:30 here in Toronto as I write this. I won't be online much for a while but figured while I had a minute before today started for me I would drop in.

Today DH and I are off to help at a 5km run/walk. Yes life continues to be extremely busy so will drop in when I can.

Take care

Darlene in Toronto

Good morning! It's overcast & cool and they are calling for rain today. I haven't posted much this week. I've been down with a doozy of a cold. But I'm finally starting to feel like a human again. Today is the day of the election for the position I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, and I've already planned out what to say 'when' the other lady wins. :-)

Hi there....

I hope everyone is having a great Sunday!

It is beautiful and sunny here near Niagara Falls also. It looks like spring has finally decided to stay. Although, late Friday afternoon we had a thunderstorm with quite a bit of hail....yikes! Thank goodness it didn't damage the flowers I planted last weekend.

Donna from Ontario, Canada

Darlene have a great run or walk, whatever you will do, where is this walk held, have they closed the parkway for this....? Hope you have good weather and no rain.

Here we have had a bit of a heat wave, but today it is not as hot anymore. Lets hope it stays that way. I am looking at Earthuse's dying instructions to start warp painting with natural dyes. The colours in the instruction book are fabulous, and I am eager to start on it. First I have to trim, or rather cut back my montana climatus, the arbour holding it up, collapsed. In order for Otto to rebuild it, we have to put the scissors into it and give it a good trim.

Have a great day all of you

Els

go for it Nora, lets hope your party winds....

Els

Donna, from no in you should have great Ontario weather, after all May

25th has passed. Have a great summer

We had a long walk this day, 8 km through wood and over (not so high!LOL!) mountains, in pooring rain! after that, soccer game.."WE" won...at last!!! AUD ;-))

Hi Everyone,

It's after 4pm here in sunny upstate NY and it's actually warm out.

weekend, but it's been anything but that.

Norma, I know you will win so have your speech ready. I also have been dealing with a spring like cold for over two weeks and they are no fun.

Hugs,

Nora

Nora, it's about 4:30 here in Massachusetts, and it has just started a thunderstorm. But up until about half an hour ago, the day was nice and sunnym so thanks for sharing your good weather. MSN's weather says a high temp. of 73 today with isolated thunderstorms, and partly cloudy on Monday with a 71 degree high temp.

Norma, good luck with your election.

Hope everyone had their cookouts earlier, or under a canopy. Drive safely.

-- Carey (who spent the morning driving to help a friend move, and there were some erratic drivers out then....)

Fingers crossed for you, Nora!

Hugs, Katherine

Hi

The walk went very well and it was held in Whitby Ontario and the group of just over 100 walked and ran the 5 km path right along the lakeshore. The weather was great this mornng and we didn't get rain until after the event was over around 1:00 this aftenoon.

Now to try and get caught up with all the messages from here that I haven't had a chance to read in the last three weeks.

Take care

Norma, I crossed my fingers to you! AUD ;-)

Thanks Els. Actually, it isn't a party situation. We are both running for 'District Deputy Grand Matron' for our district in "Eastern Star". Btw, it's tomorrow now, and I did win.

Thanks to everyone who wished me well in the election. I won!

Congratulations, Norma. Even though I don't know what "Eastern Star" is, the title of 'District Deputy Grand Matron' sounds like a rather important position.

Congratulations Norma, I always KNEW you would be the winner, how could anyone turn you down!! (OK I'm sad for the other lady, but I'm sure she'll find things to do) So what do you have to do now you're District Deputy Grand Matron? Sounds very exciting, but busy!! Well done Love Christine

Congratulations, Norma. I'm happy for you and wish you much success in carrying out your new responsibilities.

That's our girl:)))))

Well Done:)))))

love

Ophelia
