Hey there my quilty friends, We got home late, late last night. Walked into the house a bit past midnight. I'm still a bit groggy and tired. I'm thinking lots of little cat naps today.
The best,best part of the trip was meeting up with Pati. Wow! She's dynamic and funny and absolutely gorgeous and wonderful in person. She showed me around the shop where she teaches (yes, I came home with LOTS of fabric) and I got to see all the incredible shop samples she's made that are hanging there. Beautiful work.
The in-laws were all great. Pops is frail, tiny and tired. But still lucid and has the same attitude and approach to human relations as always. My DMIL is so wonderful. All I can say is that I love her. I came back with an incredibly exciting project. I'll tell you all about it when I'm not falling asleep in my tea cup.
Glad to be home. The dead-mouse smell is gone. No little mousy bodies inthe traps I left. Life is good.
