How precious. White linen pants? Khaki? Um, your experiences with 2 yr olds is obviously not the same as mine ;))

Polly, it's just jaw-droppingly beautiful. This little baby's Mum is going to be so delighted and proud as punch. I can just imagine your fingers doing all that tiny work. Marvellous. What size squares are those on your design wall (if that's where it is)?
(Do you make adult ones? I think that style would suit me really well!) . In message , Polly Esther writes

the shirt is beautiful! i'm going to assume that white linen pants would be for pictures only ...because at two, Nathan was into everything, and we went through numerous changes of clothes in a day .
you do such beautiful work Miss Polly. I so appreciate getting to see what you create!

Good heavens, is there anything you can't do? That's just too special. Oh, I can see a little one in it - spit-shined for church, with his hair falling in his eyes (just a bit, not too much). I don't know that my imaginary child would wear the white linen pants, but definitely denim or khaki - and how about saddle shoes instead of tennies or sandals?

Thank you. Thank you all for your special words. You would have groaned with me if you'd seen me realize that I was pintucking the collar sideways the 1st time. I wasn't quite able to 'fix' in my head where the pintucks started so that they would be perpendicular at center front. The design wall cover squares are 2", Pat. I have to have the squares so I can line up blocks; I see close-up with one eye and far-away with the other so 'level' is beyond me without the grid. Now. I'm thinking it's about time for all of you to show us what You are stitching. Show and Tell is so precious here. C'mon. We want to see. Polly

Nothing much to show, Roberta. Martha Pullen ( my hero) has always encouraged us to use our sergers, even on the heirloom garments. Mine is set on a soft, gentle 3-thread that finishes the seams without being rough against even tough little boy skin. ( After, of course, I realized that you do have to thread the needle even if you're only using one of them.) Polly

Howdy!
suggest: take a quick photo,
and a change of pants for the little guy.
Don't some suits still come w/ 2 pairs of pants?

Beautiful Polly, white pants would look great with it. As a great grand mother you don't have to worry about keeping them clean or washing them. lol
