Fortunately, Shirley, I don't have the same memories Mike does of stodgy school lunch puddings. He and my friend Lesley are always going on about them.

I love Jam Roly Poly, but it has to have heaps of custard and my hips simply can't allow that.

Manchester Tart, yum. And Bakewell Tarts. I've not had the Queen's puddings though. (and I'm refusing to make any traitorous comments about who has!)

lol Funny you should say that! I am sitting here eating stuffed fried shrimp and stuffed fried crab. A tiny seafood place nearby, with drive-thru, makes it too easy to have wondermous seafood for lunch! :) Sucks that it wouldn't ship well!

you're making me hungry! (at 12:07 local time, no particular surprise, really - maybe I am finally getting over this stomach bug, but I think at this point I'd still take shortbread over fried anything).

Tease!

I don't need the seafood per se, just the seasonings!

I love both but some places here think cajun just means hot and hotter. This little place has been around for a long time and their food is just spicy enough to make my ears itch (weird I know!) but not hot enough to wipe out the taste of everything else. And they are famous locally for their pistolettes... small crusty rolls filled with shrimp, crab or crawfish etoufee!!! YUMM!

I know, all the initials are tough to get in. I hate naming auctions, it is hard.

Lara

LOL, Lara, it's like having several hundred children!

I'm about to start giving them names in foreign alphabet letters or numbers just to see if anyone notices. It's either that or back to castles and the Black Douglas! I'll have to get my Corries albums out to get me in the mood.

I love See's dark chocolate covered glace ginger.
